Josh Duggar: "We Have Some Fights"
Posted on 11:46 by Unknown
On Friday's edition of Washington Watch, Josh Duggar joined host Tony Perkins to talk about LifeUnited.org, a new website that the Duggars helped develop.
Perkins ended the interview with this question: "Do the kids ever argue?"
Josh said that while his family does tidy up before the camera crew arrives, the show still portrays their life in a very real light.
"We're a normal family, but I like to illustrate it this way: If you had the president of the United States over to your house, you're going to clean up a little bit. Well, that's kind of how it works when you have a large group of people coming over. You're going to spruce up the house. Yes we have some fights, yes we have the dirty floors, and yes we have the dinnertime chaos. My parents really are exceptional parents, and I do give them credit. It is so real."

Duggars Introduce LifeUnited.org
Posted on 08:52 by Unknown
After touring the Holocaust Museum in Washington D.C. in 2010, the Duggars prayed about their involvement in ending abortion. They made a few calls and joined forces with national pro-life groups and individuals with a common goal. Now, almost three years later, the fruits of their labor can be seen in LifeUnited.org
"LifeUnited.org was formed as a coalition to unite the pro-life army to use technology with top quality online pictures, diagrams and videos to educate today's world that each child is a special creation of God," says Michelle Duggar.
To kick off the website, Jim Bob and several of the kids attended the Arkansas March for Life in Little Rock. Josh and Anna Duggar are currently in Washington D.C. for the National March for Life.

Duggar Meal Planning and Prep
Posted on 23:26 by Unknown
In a recent Parentables post, Michelle Duggar discusses the logistics of meal planning and cooking for a family with nineteen children.
The Duggars plan meals two weeks in advance so they can structure their shopping trips accordingly. "Menus and lists are a huge help..." writes Michelle.
When it comes to preparing lunch and dinner, everyone is eager to help. "All of the kids take turns in the kitchen. And it's not just for the girls! Some of the boys are really good cooks."
Michelle understands that overseeing children in the kitchen can get hectic. How do parents keep from becoming overwhelmed?
The key, explains the mom of nineteen, is splitting the kids into groups of three of four and appointing a leader. "If you get more than that, there are really just too many cooks in the kitchen!"
